SBK®X Demo Officially Announced

Players can now get ready for the official release of SBK®X game after Black Bean Games have officially announced that the Demo is now available for Xbox Live® Gold members. For Silver members, PC and Playstation® Network can download it from the 26th May.

As well as experiencing the Superbike championship, players can also participate in the Supersport series, testing the improvements of the Portimao circuit.

You can try out your riding skills in different weather conditions as well as riding against 15 other riders in the new Online Multiplayer Mode and you can also play both in Arcade or Simulation mode.

As well as the regular Regular SBK®X edition, there is to be a Limited Special Edition which features a list of 17 riders from the history of Superbikes plus a DVD documentary showing highlights of an exclusive interview with the 2009 Superbike World Champion Ben Spies.

Both versions of the game will be available for purchase from the 4th June.

Who wants to take part in the worlds first ever cyber-balloon race?

Orange have organised this virtual race to mark the launch of the animal tariffs on their pay-as-you-go mobiles. Entrants can track and control their personalised balloon as it flies across the web with each site they enter gaining them 1 internet mile. To make the game more interesting, energy boosts and rainbows will enable you to increase your mileage!

Whoever has the most miles at the end of the 7 day event wins a £20,000 VIP trip to Ibiza. There will also be opportunities to pick up bonus prizes en-route.

Hanabi Festival 2

Last september the Wii Shop Channel introduced the virtual channels ‘Hanabi Fesival’.

This allows classic games that were not released in Europe available from the Wii shop Channel. So now we can enjoy more American and Japanese classic games for the virtual console on wii.

They will begin with:

The First Mario Kart Wii Competition

To take part in the first ever Mario Kart Wii competition all you have to do is go on the Mario Kart Channel and it should mention there is a competition in place.

It is all free and you can enter as many times as you like until the 10th May.

What you have to do is do one race around Mario circuit on Flower Cup with 11 other computer racers and get the best time and then send that to Nintendo.

So try your hardest, enjoy the competition and the game.
